Infinite Geisha - gliceé print

‘Infinite Geisha,’ (originally 18" x 24", oil on canvas, 2011) started at the Wet Paint Project at the Mad Hatter's Reunion in Maine on Chris Dingwell's birthday. This piece was for Joey Desmeraux of Infinite Irons, who I’d commissioned to build a set of custom Seppuku themed tattoo machines as Christmas presents for my crew. The comical part was he price quoted me on the machines, and then told me, “I don’t want your money, I want your ART!” Then he told me not to go crazy, as one of my paintings would easily be more than the $600. But I know that Joey collected originals from the best people working in the industry, so I couldn’t dial it down based on cost!
This is a high end lithograph of that original on archival paper, professionally matted and framed, and was hanging over our stenciling station for that entire time. Another piece that’s hard to let go. Also hard to photograph, as the glass is so reflective, hence the angle! The original is included here as reference. Framed, the piece is 28" x 34".
